I've been there and it's not easy to stay motivated and have sustained momentum, empowerment and success. There were many times I wanted to throw in the towel.
My Story
My journey started over 15 years ago. Actually if you want to include my childhood experiences including abuse, attempted suicide and more it's been more than 30 years ago.
2007
I've had challenges with my self esteem, depression, fear of rejection and the wrong mindset.
I used my Faith, experiences,Education and career including my position as a Director of Education which is where I discovered my unique giftings,leadership ability and passion to carve out a path for this journey.
I jumped in with both feet In 2007 my daughter lost her vision and I quit my job to care for her 24/7. That wasn't easy but I stepped out in Faith and did what I had to do including keeping my focus, staying in faith so that we could support our daughter through this journey. I kept encouraging women, hosting events, ministering to my husband and family. We got through and realized empowerment. Our daughter did regain her vision although the doctor's kept telling us they didn't know that she would.
How do you respond to crisis? Can you remain focused, motivated, and in tune with your mission?
2010
Crisis will come. The difference is how you're prepared to deal with it. This year our daughter suffered yet another crisis when she came close to death twice. We could have panicked, she could have panicked, however, we focused on Faith. I wanted to postpone a live event because I felt I just didn't have the energy to proceed. I kept getting green lights and went ahead with The Empowerment Gathering live that blessed women's lives from across the states. I even landed a segment on Good Day Sacramento. I was blessed to celebrate my Birthday the following night with my family and women that could come from the event.
How did i stay focused in Crisis? What did I do to realize sustained momentum and motivation?
How did I continue with sustained empowerment to empower and encourage others? And how did I set effective goals, make sure they were written down and continue with unshakable confidence that I would accomplish my goals until I did?
